 Newly restored 380 Guvmint
Here she is all shiny and showing the fingerprints I forgot to wipe off before taking the picture. I picked this up in poor condition pretty dinged up. I should have taken a "Before" pic.
She shoots almost as good as she looks but tends to throw the first shot an inch or so at 15yds. I installed an aluminum trigger, real Ivory grips and a fresh set of springs from Wolff and many hours of polishing off the matte finish. Detail stripping the 380 Gov. is not for the faint of heart! I may send her off to C&S for Novak sights.
I've been feeding her Berry's 100gr over 2.8gr of Bullseye

My Gubbamint is still in the blue box, aint been fired.
Interesting on hearin' first hand how the bugger shoots.
Like the grips. I agree, the sights are less than optimal for serious shooting.

 Re: Newly restored 380 Guvmint
Mr. Salami,
I used to be one of those that wouldn't consider shooting anything smaller than a .40, but this little 380 is easy to hit with as long as there is enough light to see the sights. I have small hands so being able to get all my fingers on the stock is a plus. Shooting my PM9 is a just plain rude after a couple of mags out this 380.

Hey, I own a hammer like that too.... That's a pretty pistol, for sure. And yes, next time get us the "before" pics as well.
