Is this the new math that is now being taught in public schools? BTW, it's been about 5% for the past many years.

"Showing your work" may not fit the new-school paradigm with regard to "new math."

Very interesting. I'd love to know how many actually carry on a regular basis.

"Stats" the raw numbers is one thing but when you start "playing" with them... in the right or wrong hands can be used either way. Like how many of that raw population is of legal age? Meets the criteria of being able to carry (legally)? Of that how many hunt? How many shoot more than once a year? It can go on and on... My whole mission is to get more folks to legally carry... more often and more proficiently Let's celebrate that the numbers are growing! "An Armed Society is... a Polite Society."

Nice. It makes me happy to know more people are taking their own personal protection seriously. It also makes me happy to know that a few officers I have talked to about the whole thing are also happy to see citizens arming themselves. Just like the rules of firearms, "When it comes to safety, it's every ones business."
