 SSN# on ATF4473?

Since my first job back in the late 50's I have put my SSN on so many pieces of paper I damn think it's part of my name.

I put it on the 4473 but I don't deal with FFL's that I don't trust to begin with.

Drew, he's not worried about the Feds having his SSN, he's worried about the FFL.. All those paper records are a identity thief's wet dream.


SSN or no SSN...Every 4473 I have is locked in a nice secure Liberty safe that is bolted to the concrete floor and wall with epoxied wedge anchors.

I would be more worried about my ID being stolen as a result of someplace I used my debit card online to buy stuff. That's way more common than anything.

I have never put my SSN on 4473. In fact I never put it on any form unless it is absolutely required.
