Yeah, true, and that's a fringe benefit . . . but the REAL benefit is the one that's staring us in the face, and the one that's a lot easier to defend. That is, citizens will now be able to travel across Kansas without worrying about encountering different laws every time they crossed a city line. We enjoy that now in Washington, and we need to make sure we don't lose it.
Imagine if every city had a different legal age to get a driver's license, or required their own driving test, or didn't honor driver's licenses from other cities . . . .
