Just received a bulletin from GOA on H.R.4380 introduced by Congressman Steve Stockman, "a bill that would cut off federal Justice Department funds to any state which attempts to confiscate and register firearms."

"In fact, H.R.4380 would prohibit any state from setting up a gun registry -- and would prohibit any system that would confiscate guns from law-abiding citizens.

"And any city, state or municipality that attempts such actions would suffer the loss of their federal Justice Department grants."

It says if they can get 100+ co-sponsors in the House it will be easier to add as an amendment to a must-pass bill.
