I just watched KOMO 4's Town Hall on 591 and 594. The supporters of 594 still stridently deny that there is anything about registration in the bill. Actually, every transfer will have to be done through an FFL dealer, which of course means you will be charged for the service. Dealers are required, under 594 to notify the state of said transfer. This, in effect, creates a statewide registry, so if government ever decides to do so, will enable them to come right to our doors and take our guns. I-594 is why I will be in Olympia on December 13, protesting an illegal and unconstitutional law. Just because it was voted on by a portion of the population registered to vote, does not make it constitutional. How many times have you seen voter-approved laws struck down by the courts on constitutional grounds. I hope to meet some of you there on the 13th of December.
