I think the problem is the NRA had lots and lots of different ways to donate and I seriously doubt that all the different mediums and $ routes were captured on that single page.
It can also be argued that their dues revenue was influenced by their 594 solicitations, which should motivate them to spend more money here even if it's greater than the specific donations to the ILA, which is exactly what happened in 1997.
Follow the money. Something here really stinks.
