Time for some legislation that REQUIRES authorities to prosecute all instances of lying on the 4473-------Period. Failure to do so should yield them the same penalty the "liar" would have received.

Enforce the existing laws designed to keep felons and nut cases from obtaining firearms and they'll be no need for more laws (except the one I just suggested).

Might have been waiting for them to do something really fucked up they could slap charges on them with. You can watch a shady person all day long, but if they keep their nose clean, legally there isn't much you can do, so you wait for them to screw up, and then nail them.
