It's not really hostage, that implies a trade. My guess is if this was passed Jenkins would reneg on the other bill because she is dishonest. Even if she didn't and it passed out of committee I doubt the 594 bill would get 2/3 vote.

None of the bills that are anti-gun or pro-gun in the Judiciary Committee will be headed to the governor. I remember a similar birdie who told me the WA GOP would not pass a law to give illegal aliens in-state tuition. Then it happened. Don't take anything for granted. There was also HB 1713 which related to firearms. I think that one passed out of committee unfortunately. The problem with that one is it creates a new prohibitor for firearms ownership that is vague and undefined.
