True that. It will be interesting to see the gun theft stats from before and after 594. Any bets as to how that goes? Anzac will be able to look them up for us.

I already said I expected gun thefts to go up post 594.

Yes, but refresh my memory - did you admit that before the election?

I call first dibs on being prosecuted under I-594. I have nothing to hide. I will fight tooth and nail and I will file a counter-lawsuit for anyone who tries to prosecute me for infringing on my "rights" as a law-abiding American who is protected by the United States Constitution.....Go ahead, make my day.

My service record both as a US Marine and as a police officer is impeccable. Anyone who tries to make me look like a "common criminal" will fail.

If O.J. Simpson can be found not guilty... I'm sure I can be found not guilty by reason of "common sense".

Rosa Parks stood up for her civil rights and I will do the same...Supreme Court of the United States, here I come :patriot:

The goal of I-594 is to make sure criminals don't buy guns...which doesn't make sense as criminals will still buy guns, meth, heroin, commit rape/murder, etc...they don't obey laws...this is why they are called criminals.

As I posted before....I will only buy/sell with those who have a CPL...Why?

Having a Concealed Pistol License = a background check...plain and simple.
Buyer/Seller verify that their CPL is current/valid (has not been revoked) at their local police/sheriff station.
Sign the Bill of Sale...end of story.

No FFL fees to worry about...it also saves time too. See my whole story here: http://waguns.org/viewtopic.php?f=114&t=49829&start=90

Problem is that libs NEVER declare their experiments DOA. Heck the special kind of retard that is against our 2nd Amendment will NEVER admit any gun law is a failure.

But this summer, we shall declare this POS A COMPLETE FAILURE.

Well before. But I contended that long term the sales to prohibited people that are deterred will outweigh the increase in thefts.
With no data collection on where criminals get guns used in WA crimes - difficult to measure.

So basically this is a "Feel Good" thing with NO facts to base it on.

You know, I just defeated a Pierce County Employee, that imposed her will on both Pierce County Airports. She publicly admits she did it, because it "felt good". Took several months to get it fixed. After what I have gone through....... I now probally have a large target on my back, as she plots revenge, I'm still going to say...............

You can take these "Feel Good" shit, and shove it right up your ass, where the shine never shines.

I started a looooong time before the enactment of I-594. I have yet to sell a firearm in a "private transaction" (unless consignments are considered "Private" for record keeping purposes).

I merely consign any firearm I want to sell with a Dealer I trust. No chance of selling to a prohibited person and having it blow back on YOU. As a side benefit, no late night calls from some bozo who wants to "deal". No having to round someone up to "ride shotgun" while you go meet this unknown customer at a parking lot.

I guess 594 just "formalized" what I've been doing for years.

You mean like "I never sold that firearm, it was stolen" type incidents?

Hmmm..
Just thinking outloud here...

How would the State know when I bought a firearm, if said firearm was already in private hands prior to Dec 4 2014?
And how would they prove that beyond reasonable doubt?

The state doesn't know.
The ATF is the only one with any kind of paperwork trails to follow.

I know this because I've had a hour "sit down" time with the ATF about a pistol I USED TO OWN. It had been stolen from a pawn shop so tell me why was I even involved when it wasn't in my name?
(ps. I did not pawn it)

Check my Math...

CPL + CPL = BGC

Divide by 594, and you get "Fuck Off"

Now I'm not real good with Algebra, but I think that's a correct answer.

No...like "While I would normally keep walking, I'm going to steal that gun because - as a criminal - it is marginally harder for me to buy one since 594 passed. If nothing else, it will demand a premium on the black market."
