Hate to sound like a jerk but when you sell to someone that has to go through 594 and you know for a fact that gun is in the clear, in your name etc. You collect the money from the buyer after you fill out the paperwork and then go on your merry way. If he gets delayed/denied, well that's his fault, not yours. You did your part legally.

More laws, worse society.
Too many laws, outdated laws and hard to comply with laws breed a contempt for the law in general.

again, another example of this seemingly universal truth.....the average gun owner knows more about and cares more about following the gun laws than the lawmakers or enforcers do

If only there was a centralized database that law enforcement could upload information.
Then they wouldn't have to review each individual transfer...
