Just like the title says, what would I do to transfer a pre-594 gun? I`m going to be sending a Swede Mauser the newfangled way with computers and forms, can someone explain the process? Or is it the same as a 4473 and all that noise?

It makes absolutely no difference if the gun was bought/made/whatever pre-594. The process is exactly the same.

Gentlemen, discretion is the better part of valor. But since the first word in that sentence rarely applies here, this might help.

Transferring a pre-594 gun is much, much easier than a post 594 gun. MUCH easier.
