Two top Statehouse heavyweights — gun-rights supporters and business advocates — are battling over a bill that would make concealed-carry permit holders a protected class under employment discrimination.

I wouldn't want all of my employees to have guns at my business.
There was one dipshit in particular in the 90's, told the Vietnamese restaurant owner 3 doors down that if her husband was mean to her he would come down there with a gun (along with me).
I bought the gun from him for more than what it was worth, and told him not to go there anymore, and to leave me out of his bullshit.

Depends on the business wehter it would be appropriate.
But people should be protected. Just because I own a firearm shoudl not cause me to lose my job.

Was he an employee? If so why not just can his ass instead of buying his gun?

If he was just a co-worker I'm not sure I would have bothered. Good chance that restaurant owner's husband would just have a gun of his own and solve the problem with a simple act of self defense.

Good question.

He was an employee but was hired by my boss, the regional manager.
I always thought he did it to fuck with me, or he felt sorry for the guy.
My first comment was "Why did you hire that guy? I think he's fucking retarded or something."

Lots of stories about him.
Wonder if he reads this forum? Hahaha
