Hey everybody, I spoke with West Coast Armory about doing a fundraiser for the fire over in Kittitas County. They were more than willing to put together a competition and all proceeds will be going to the Inland Northwest Region American Red Cross. The event is September 2nd all day and the winner will even get a free Silver Membership! Here is the link: http://www.westcoastarmory.com/events/e ... ition.htmlEven if you don't have a membership or you "dislike" West Coast, go and make a donation for those in need. It is for a good cause so put away your biases and go shoot it up! Thanks everyone!

Stickied . . . but you'll still want to keep bumping it over the next couple of days. Very nice work, MSXDM! That's fantastic that you were able to pull together a fundraiser, and to get a great place like West Coast Armory to sponsor it! I don't think that will be much of an issue. West Coast Armory is a VERY nice range, and it just so happens that they have a nice gun store attached as well . . . .

Very nicely done... Can you give any more details? Time? All day? What distances and what caliber, if any? And the most important is how long do you have to shoot 5 shots?

Bump bump . . . anyone want to join us? It's about supporting a good cause more than the actual shooting . . . come say hello and pop five shots downrange, no biggie.

BadKarma and quantsuff and I did our thing this morning . . . punched some holes for charity, and had some fun while doing it. It's pretty laid-back. Go up to the range desk, tell them you're there for the charity shoot, and hand over your donation (minimum $10, more if you're so inclined). They give you a target, and you head back to the range to shoot it. It's self-policed, you do your own thing. The range is 10 yards. The competition is to shoot the tightest GROUP (doesn't need to be in the center of the target), so don't worry about whether your pistol is zeroed or not. Just show up and hold it steady.
