I enjoyed rally today. Sorry, but I didn't see this site's tent (I was on the other side of the crowd). Anyway, it was a nice turnout and I hope to meet you face to face at future events!

Weird, I thought I smelled pipe tobacco, but I guess I was wrong.

I'll have to agree with DSynger. As an atheist and secular humanist, who also supports our 2nd Amendment rights, I didn't care for the whole God bit. I thought it was a gun rally, not a God rally. I prefer rational debate and discourse with the goal of persuading lawmakers to support gun rights, not alienating them with an overly emotional "I'm right because I believe in God" appeal. Nevertheless, I also support the 1st Amendment so say what you will. I just prefer to be more focused in my message as to why I support the 2nd Amendment and own and carry guns.

You guys realize it would be just as easy to shrug off the God comments and focus on the pro 2nd amendment comments as it is to sit on here and bitch about how much you didn't care for it, right?
A lot of people who support the same things I do say a lot of things I don't agree with. I take what I agree with and leave what I don't. Try it sometime. It's not hard to do.

But dhpdrew, apparently you don't. Hence your reply to my comment.

No need for infighting or one up-commentary. We were all there for the same reason. Regardless how that message was delivered, we stood 2,000 strong, together!
