Its official. We are going to be doing another group shoot and clean on 4/4. This will be at the Medford Pit(Harry Osborn Wilderness), east of Sedro-woolley. We have hosted several and have been very successful. I will bring my smoker and will be smoking up a bunch of meat for a potluck lunch. The pit will be closed just for us involved in the clean up.
The is to clean from about 10am, to 1pm, followed by a potluck lunch, and group shoot until dark if you wish. Keep in mind we are doing this in cooperation with SGN as well as a local Skagit County Facebook group. This should be a very quick and successful clean up with all these parties working together. I am working with the DNR as with the last clean up. They will be providing dumpsters, contractor trash bags, and log our volunteer hours.
Pass the word around, we could use all the help we can get. If you could bring a potluck side dish, that would be great. Dont forget the clean up essentials, gloves, rakes, shovels, rumor has it the FB group will have a tractor there to help as well. Let me know if and what you can bring.

Let's make this one as great the previous ones! For those concerned, as I'm cooking, I will be there much earlier in the morning, about 8am usually. For those that need, meeting at my place in Burlington is also an option.

Alright April 4. Count me IN!

Holy shit! Are they handing out blankets in hell right now? Maybe I'll grab my shotgun and bag myself an airborne porcine snack!

Can someone give me a ride up or precise instructions? Will my WRX make it up, ground clearance wise?

I will post a map and directions well before the shoot. Yes, your WRX will be fine to the pit. I wouldn't drive it down in the bottom personally, but to the pit it is fine. Otherwise you can meet me in Burlington and ride out with me if you dont mind being there early.

Haha . . . yup, that's the trick! I sent my Google calendar event to my girlfriend, too. She's going to ask me, "why did you invite me, you know I don't want to go" and I'm going to tell her, "So you can't say that I never want to do anything together . . . and so you know that I'll be doing 'gun stuff' on yet another nice weekend day."

Pablo the Gravel pit is basically in my back yard so I am up there quite a bit and just wanted to warn you after seeing how pail you are. On a warn day since it is at a slightly higher elevation it gets warm and sunny on a nice day, you may want to put on an extra layer of sunscreen. I am only saying this to warn you after seeing those really whitey pics you posted.
