Official AK PNW Meet and Greet Official Thread.

So after hours of organizing I have finally settled on April the 27th-29th for this event to take place. Location is Goldendale Wa at the Cerberus Group training Range. The range will be open to us for all 3 days, with the meet and greet scheduled for the 28th. On that day there will be plenty of shooting, BBQ, raffles, and some friendly timed competition events. If you would like to take one of the classes offered sign up on the link below as spaces are limited and will fill quickly. All range fees/camping/training will be collected by the Cerberus Training Group, again see prices in the link . No hook up/primitive camping is offered on site, and is free if you take a class. If your not the camping type I added a couple of the local motels in the links below. My goal is to put together a economical fun weekend with like minded individuals that enjoy shooting the AK rifle. If you plan to attend please post up so I can further plan ahead, and make sure I get enough food for the BBQ. I have a few vendors donating stuff for the raffle, so some cool things will be given away. This should be a kickass weekend, and I look forward to meeting my fellow AK brothers on here as well as a few other PNW firearms forums. I'm not currently an AK owner. I am a shooting enthusiast that likes the sound of this type of get together. Are non AK folks welcome or are you serious about the AK part?

Your a like minded individual that I couldn't turn away, I will put an AK in your hands for the weekend if you want to come.

Range has been finished...well phase 1 anyway.

The initial pit is 25 yards wide, 20 yards deep with a range of 100 yards overall. The berms are about 9 feet tall, so that should keep everything in.

Please no tracer rounds...trying to keep my insurance company happy!

Didn't see this soon enough, so I have work that weekend. Maybe do this in the fall again? I also will be happy to loan out an AK to anyone that wants to "drink the koolaid".

The range got a layer of rock this week...all is good to go, hope the weather cooperates!

A note about ammo, if folks can let me know what they might want I'll make sure I have plenty on hand for everyone.

I'll be working the bus that weekend, just not the one in Gdale. Tell Mark, Luke says hi!

Mark will be sidetracked with the long board races, but he might be there on Sunday.

Also, last minute tractor work pushed the range out about 200 yards. Not very wide, but usable.

...and the fun begins! Starting with a Run the Gun AK rifle class at 0900. Still have some slots...just show up, no one will be turned away.

Anyone is welcome at anytime during the weekend...hope to see a good group show up!
