Visited a friend today and got talking about reloading 45. He said, "you know, i have a bunch of supplies, I should give them to you and let you load them and you keep half...". I said "OK"! Basically supplies to make 2k of a load he worked up for a 5" Kimber Custom II (same kimber I have). The cases are Federal Nickel once fired from what we could tell. The projectiles are 500 JHP and 500 FMJ. Going to do a batch at his formula +/- a little to check and see how it goes.

And with the right press that's only about an hour and a half's work Based on the price of new ammo that would make your wages about $60-$75 an hour.

That AA#5 is really a good mid range powder for the 230 gr 45ACP. Try 8gr. But NOT with the 500 gr bullets!
