Savage Arms Model 71 Made in 1971. "Stevens Favorite" Commemorative Rifle, 22s,l,lr has a 22" octagonal barrel. Case colored receiver, gold cocking lever, hammer and crescent butt plate. Walnut stock with inlaid commemorative medallion on the right side. Adjustable rear sight, front blade sight. Includes all packaging and p/w. i cannot confirm that it has not been fired. However, my opinion it has not or very few times if it has at all. This little gem is in excellent condition and would make a very nice heirloom. I have had it for awhile and could never bring myself to shoot it, do to the condition and scarcity. These are somewhat rare and opinions vary on how many had been actually produced.
