I vote for a cheap option to be the leatherman crater. It's around $20, made in America, and it has a bottle opener! Sure the steel is not the best and the handles are plastic but it comes with phosphor bronze washers and a 25 year warranty. They also come pretty damn sharp. A quick stropping on a piece of leather and some oil on the moving parts and your good to go. I bought one of these when I was in America's hat because I felt naked with out a knife and it was cheap. It also happens to be under the 3" limit. I was amazed at the value for the money. Leatherman also engraves it for $6.95 but I'm not sure about a logo. http://www.leatherman.com/53.html#start=3

I have an Aegis and Trident, both of which I'm extremely happy with. Personally I can't say I'm a fan of the handles of the zoom, need to feel them in person, perhaps it will change my mind. I don't mind spending more for a better blade, I just thought the Cryo II was a good choice based off blade design and cost (and apparently Steve has a boner for Kershaws.. The SOG is ~$60+engraving+tax I have faith the Kershaw route could be done for <$50. Assuming the more people the cheaper the price, we can attract more people at $50 or less than $60+

I've been wanting to pick up a new edc knife. This could match my Waguns edc flashlight.

A Kershaw has been my EDC for several years now. I'd be down for one if it goes that route.
Hell, who am I kidding? I'm a knife slut. If it stays under or around $50 OTD and has a quality steel blade, I'm in regardless...

I personally prefer the Scallion. It is a Speed Safe knife with a US blade. Fits the pocket well. http://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-1620OL-Sc ... lion+knifeor the Chive... http://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-1600-Chiv ... lion+knife

BTW the Cryo is a Chinese made knife and blade. My experience with Kershaw Chinese made knives has been less than favorable.

Poll added to gauge how much members are willing to spend. Will make it easier to gauge the quality of knife to choose.

I'm at 50 and under. My EDC Kershaw RAM is a hard one to beat, I'll only replace it when I lose it. It's a shame they don't make it anymore, and I didn't buy 3. Most likely anything I get will sit in my safe with the other 10 knives I don't use. If it happens I may jump in.

I didn't select an option from the poll. The quality would dictate the amount I would be willing to spend. Get a quality maker and some good steel and I would be willing to pay the price. Of course I would also buy a cheap one as well if it had the WAGUNS logo on it. At any rate, I'm in! Rusoarmo wrote: I'm on a knife binge right now. Wouldn't mind adding a WaGuns edition to my collection.
Take a Kershaw or (ZT for those with more $$$) add a WaGuns logo, maybe user name?
Make it happen admins.....
EDIT:
Poll added to gauge how much people will be willing to pay. Based off that we can have a better idea of the quality of knife to use.
In the poll, all prices are reflecting OTD and less than or equal too. I.E, you would be willing to pay $50 or less for option 1. You can recast vote if you decide to change in the future.
