.338LM TRG42 with brake, Titan, and Beast suppressors.

We finally were able to get our first very small batch of BEAST suppressors out for a sound test.

We had access to an AAC Titan and were able to comparison test the BEAST against it. The BEAST had no FRP in our test, the Titan had 5-6DB FRP, but also had the lower average. The peak sound was tied by one round from both suppressors. To the human ear, it would be too hard to tell which suppressor sounded better in the opinions of people present. They both sounded phenomenal- turning a .338LM into a rifle that sounded like a suppressed SPR with Ops 12th model.

The Beast is a $749 MSRP suppressor
The Titan in the video was purchased for $1650, but now is a much more competitive, $1195 MSRP

The ammo was Lapua factory- but I didn't note which grain weight. The ammo being ~$140 for 20 rounds, we were firing 5 round averages simply to reduce cost.

We didn't take the muzzle brake off as pretty much everyone will fire a .338LM with the brake. The Sound reduction for the AAC product was at least 40.4DB at the shooter's ear. The sound reduction for our product was at least 37.6DB at the shooters ear. The B&K 2209 measures to 170DB. When the meter is pegged, the likelihood of sound being exactly the pegged value is low. IE Un-suppressed reference may have actually been 174 for all we know.

The video can be opened in youtube and manually keyed to 1080P for higher quality viewing.

I can't get the video to link and forgot the trick to doing that on the site- click the URL and it will take you to the 720P version - if you want 1080 you have to manually change the resolution.
