I love mine, it's half the size of my erstwhile EDC, which was an LED Lenser T-6 (I think?), which I also loved. While I miss the spot/flood aspect, the fact that the EagTac is so much brighter makes up for it. I also like the moon/bright/OMG capability with the slight turn of the lens cap, I use that the most. It gets pretty hot pretty quick in OMG mode. Looking into some rechargeable CR123A's for it. I've been using rechargeables in my T-6 for several years with good effect.

ahhh, showed up in time for my bday :), just one more package to open! (the only package to open doh). Trying to decide best way to carry, its case is quite enormous compared to its size, otherwise am quite impressed, as is everone who has seen it so far. I think that the clip alone in a coin pocket will do the trick! Thanks to Lennie and Dan!!

I don't use the holster... I just clip it in my pocket next to my knife and carry on!

If you want to direct drive you want a 16340 Li-ion cell they are 3.7v the other type Lith (LiFE-po4?)rechargeable cells are only 3.0-3.2v wich will not put the light into direct drive...
I have AW16340 cells in stock but I am getting low on chargers so if anyone is interested we can put together quick order for chargers(3business days out)

Just got my light. It's a bit brighter than my XML same size. Very cool with the logo!
Woohoo!
