Re: Where are my loaders/reloaders. vented bullets???
Good luck on seeing them here in the US for handgun rounds. The solid copper construction more than qualifies them as "armor piercing" as they are constructed of a jacket material that consists of a greater percentage of the bullet than allowed by the ATF. Barnes would have the same problem if they made pistol bullets in their solid materials. They get away with it because of the "Hunting purpose".
Again, strange things have happened but I don't see a future for them here unless they can develop a bullet with a conventional lead core and copper jacket, remaining below the threshold for AP rounds.
This is what happened to the old French "Arcane" bullet. Solid brass with a cone shaped nose. Made nasty wound cavities and also went right through soft body armor. Damn good bullet. Damned illegal today.

Re: Where are my loaders/reloaders. vented bullets???
Nice stereo post! That must be for 3-D Wa Guns, the next level of user friendliness! Update - oh, crap, moderator help eliminated one of Deadshot's double posts - took my joke fun away.
Anyway, this reminded me of a really old Popular Mechanics article, where they were testing a "rocket gun". It shot a round where each round had propellant, and fins that flipped open on leaving the muzzle to provide spin on the round. Firing was electrical impulse to a primer charge that lit off the round.
It was a hand gun being tested - looked like a Buck Rogers version of a 44 Auto Mag, very cool. Those rounds had serious velocity too, judging by the way they tore apart target materials shown in extra photos. I kinda wish they had ran with that one. I always wanted one of those bad boys, and they were working on it in the sixties. I figured it would be military surplus by the time I was ready to own one.

Hot dawg! You are correct, sir! I have to do some Googlie Mooglie and Wiki work to check out that little fellah all over again - it was a cool rig.

I wonder if the holes cause drag. I bet the BC is low, at least as bad as Barnes Groves in the TSX.

I would think that this design would create a wobbly flight path at best. I don't need anything that introduces the slightest side pressure on the projectile. I am a bad enough shot on my own

I am a bad enough shoe on my own If their manufacturing process isn't absolutely perfect I see this as a problem too. I can see these bullets performing like a bottle rocket if one hole is off by the slightest amount.

Does anyone besides me remember the 22LR round that had minute holes that extruded lube from the bullet as it transended the bore?

Only thing I remember about old 22LR rounds was the stickiness of the lube and how it collected all the lint and crud from my pockets. Sometimes had to wipe the round off just to get it to chamber
