The tube is usually the ATF part, so what would be the registered part on the tubeless design? The whole thing?

On page one, that Beretta? I really like the look of it, very 80s movie villain type.

When I tried the same can on a Beretta and an HP22, the Phoenix was much "quieter". The very lw slide of the M21 blows open too easily, making for more noise out of the ejection port. I added a "cap": to the slide, so that I could cut a dovetail into it and install a real rear sight. Then it was both more quiet and more accurate. I mounted the front sight on the front of the can and just leave it on the gun. It's an underchamber design, adds only 3.5" to the length of the 5.5" long gun (with threaded barrel's extra 1/2" of OAL. 9" is pretty short to have a truly quiet autoloader. From standing offhand, both hands, it will reliably hit a 3" disk at 25 yds.
