So in my quest for tasty hot sauces my wife and I ran across Dank Sauce. Their cactus sauce is money. We had steak fajitas the other night and put this on top, it was Tits McGee. Has a little heat, but not a whole lot. I added a line of Secret Aardvark sauce to kick it up a notch. The combo was super tasty.

Go to Trader Joe's for some dried reaper flakes. Tasty, but brings the heat.

I guess I'm ordinary. I have Sriracha (Huy Fong and Trader Joe's), Valentina, Tapatio, and Frank's Buffalo for 99% of my needs. Mongolian Fire Oil is good for stir frys. My wife doesn't like it when I coat spaghetti with Tapatio, or scrambled eggs with Frank's, but that's how I roll.
I love hot foods but I've noticed that somewhere around age 30, I'd get painful hiccups if the heat was in the fresh jalapeño range. Like, my diaphragm would spasm...not fun. And fresh jalapeños are not super hot.
My tongue still remember's Dixie's "The Man" sauce...unpleasantly warm.

When I first noticed this thread, I thought "at last, an opportunity to tell others about Secret Aardvark!". Then I read the OP.
Imagine my disappointment.

This is some good stuff... The x-hot has a good amount of heat with a hint of lime and other spices. http://www.hotbabe-hotsauce.com/to-orde ... auces.html

The soon-to-be wifey bought me this.
Soon I will have full control of the impending mouthfire.

I like my own. Made over 30 jars this summer ranging from thick mild salsa to Habanero blend hot sauce. The only bad thing is I made to much of the mild shit, and not enough of the hot stuff.

You can always make it hotter. You can't make it wimpier.
