On March 21st, WaGuns will be turning six years old! What better way to celebrate than by sharing some "tools of freedom," as PMB would say?!!
Update: Winners are posted here: viewtopic.php?p=776081#p776081
This year, we have partnered with Kelly Bachand of Kelly's Gun Sales. Kelly has been very generous and has provided the first two prizes to us at excellent prices, and by donating the third prize. Check out Kelly's Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/KellysGunSales/; he has some cool stuff in stock, and is able to order other guns as well as NFA items.
Prize #1 Claimed by old11bravoFirst up is the Kel-Tec RDB, which is a bullpup rifle chambered in 5.56 which takes standard AR-15 magazines! This is not only a cool rifle, but it's also very hard to find . . . so you're unlikely to find the person next to you at the range shooting the same thing that you are. Speaking of the person next to you, you won't be peppering him or her with hot brass either, since this rifle has a cool downward-ejecting design that will put your brass into a nice pile. A steaming hot pile, yes, but in a good way.
Here's the Kel-Tec web page for the RDB:
https://www.keltecweapons.com/rifles/rdbAnd here's a Military Arms Channel video, made with a pre-production version of the gun:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BASgtPpYfF0And . . . just a good ol' pic of what it looks like:
Prize #2 Claimed by Blaze.45Next up is a NIB BATTLEWORN Glock 19 by Legal Manufacturing, which has a cool finish on it as well as some good-looking relief cuts. It's the model on the right in the photo below:
Here's is Legal Manufacturing's web page with more information:
https://www.legalmanufacturing.com/nib- ... -glock-19/This is chambered in 9mm Luger, of course.
Prize #3 Claimed by mp1977And next, Kelly has donated an Aero Precision PEW stripped AR-15 lower receiver:
Check out the selector markings on that thing . . . very cool.
Build your own badass AR-15 rifle or pistol with this lower.
Here is Aero Precision's web page:

Prize #4 Claimed by JeffroFor prize #4 we have a Mission First Tactical Minimalist AR-15 stock, made for a milspec buffer tube and new in the package. This has been donated by
usrifle and the winner can pick it up from him:
Prize #5 Claimed by NormanatorFront Sight Commander MembershipPrize #5 is one Front Sight Commander level membership, donated by
beckdw. According to
Front Sight's Website, this membership level "ALLOWS YOU TO ATTEND ANY COURSE HELD AT FRONT SIGHT, NEVADA FREE OF CHARGE, AND AS OFTEN AS YOU WISH AND AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WISH"
Some fine print from
beckdw:
"Some caveats, first, the resort is NOT built so until it is you have to stay on your dime at a hotel unless you are traveling down there with a camper. Second, the marketing is what I can only describe as a pyramid scheme, so there are a lot of emails pushing you to build front sight credits, upgrade your membership, etc. Feel free to send it to your junk inbox. Third, there is an annual $50 background check if you want to attend a course in that year.
Lastly, whoever wins one needs to set up an account with Front Sight and send me their username so I can transfer the membership to them."
And finally . . .
the rules!
1) This PIF is open to all WaGuns members; simply reply "In" or similar below.
Your profile must include your location (city or county) and an avatar. To update it, go here:
ucp.php?i=173. If you have trouble, send a PM to MadPick for help.
2) To be eligible to win Prize #1 or Prize #2, you must be a WaGuns
Site Supporter . . . since donations are what make this PIFs happen! If you are not a site supporter, you can become one by donating here:
http://www.waguns.org/donate/. Note that you do NOT need a PayPal account to use that link.
3) Prize #3 may be won by all eligible entrants, Site Supporter or otherwise.
4) We will choose a winner by entering all names into a random list generator and "randomizing" the list ten times. On the tenth run, the winners will be the top three eligible entrants. Each winner will be allowed to choose from the remaining prizes.
5) All prizes must be picked up, and background check completed, at Kelly's Gun Sales in Kent, WA. If you live really far away . . . we'll figure it out.
6) We reserve the right to modify these rules at any time in order to keep things fair.
7) Only one entry per person. Entering more than once will disqualify that person.
This PIF will be closed and the winners drawn on our sixth birthday, March 21st! Good luck to everyone, and happy birthday to our community!
