Bought a collection of .22 LR and .22 Short awhile back. (60's through the 80's, very few have bar codes). Think is was 5,000 rounds total (2,00 and 3,000 rounds respectively). Bought it mainly for my 98% 1922 Remington Model 24 in .22 Short. It doesn't like modern ammo. On paper it's worth a lot, but nobody wanted to buy it at collector prices. So I'm slowly shooting through the .22 Short, still have the 22 LR and Win 22 Auto (2 boxes at top).
