I was in a business law class at Highline C.C. in 1984 with a professor that hosted a T-Bird player. They had "Athletic Foster Parents" that players lived with while their kids played hockey here in WA state while attending college. The T-Birds moved here in 1977 and attendance in those games back then were in the hundreds or less. T-Birds were relatively new then.

Anyway, this extremely-liberal-law professor used to talk about two things inbetween our lecturing of case law; Ronald Reagan was evil and T-Birds were the best thing since life's bread.

1st game for the T-BIRDS in the round robin series is Saturday at noon our time.
They are now playing for the CHL Memorial cup, that's the whole ball of wax for the Canadian Hockey League.
4 teams vying for it all, Go T-BIRDS!
