Whole Foods doesn't know sandwiches

Fri Sep 08, 2017 9:22 am

My letter to them yesterday:

Yesterday 9/7 I bought a Cubano sandwich at the Whole Foods deli counter in Redmond WA. I figured for $8, it was going to be good. It was terrible. GROSS IN FACT! First of all it could barely be called a Cubano. Just a tiny amount of ham, one slice of cheese, stale bread, a half gallon of mustard and three pickles does not make a sandwich a Cubano. The counter person asked me if I wanted it heated up and just threw it in an oven. NO!! That is NOT how you heat a Cubano sandwich. It tasted grosser than it looked. Not good. Please refund my $8 and have the knowledge that I will no longer be shopping at Whole Foods.

If you already won't shop there anymore, why would they give you a refund?
:ROFLMAO:

Funny how they make you go back to the store....................

Went to Safeway a few years ago, grabbed a pound of seafood salad.
Got home, no salad.
Had the wife go back and get me a refund.

After a few days when I got in my truck..................WTF is that smell????

Ya, it rolled under the back seat and started to ferment.

:ROFLMAO: Funny thing is two weeks ago, same Safeway, we got home and Wife informs me that the two Red Peppers and the Cheese we bought were missing but they were on the receipt. I asked if she was sure...you know how that discussion went. So, back to the Safeway I go. Of course the clerk at the register had changed, so there was no extra bag of food there. I talk to manager for a moment and he says just go grab the replacements. Good deal, I am good to go. Put in fridge. Fast forward 3 days, reach into veggie drawer for carrots, behind carrots is a shopping bag. Whats in bag? I bet you know exactly what was in that bag. Good news for me is I didn't have to break out the Fabreeze to make my vehicle habitable again.

That is how my sandwich tasted. Maybe closer to butt, but you get the idea.

Don't think I've ever been to a Whole Foods.
Always struck me as libtard granola hippy Hillary voter shit.

I was at Mukilteo QFC a couple years ago, gal scanned my half gallon of bourbon then another gal came along and took over her till, scanned the rest of my items.

Got home, no booze.

Drove back, went back to the same checkstand......different guy working.
Bagger girl said she didn't remember me being there 20 minutes earlier so I figure she stole it. They do that.

Checker (assistant manager) said there was nothing he could do.

I told him there was something he could do.
Go grab my bottle and bring it to me, which he finally did.

I go there all the time, they know me.

At least QFC has a panini machine. The idiots leave the lettuce in the various sandwiches, but at least it is capable of making a cuban. I am not surprised by the stupidity, it's that you pay extra for it at Whole Foods.

At Microsoft one of the cafeterias had a panini machine marked 'Vegan Only' in 3" letters.
Somebody accidentally made a meat sandwich in it, and it upset an employee.
So they threw the machine away.

Not like a cleaning would suffice.
(Probably just wiped it off and moved it to another building).

yeah me too

I had at least 20 different examples when I was in Florida and probably around 5 in this area. Some were obviously better than others.........but damn, Whole Foods? Weak.

Kinda reminds me the one time I ate at a Mexican restaurant that had Chinese cooks.
Nothing good came of it...
