Deviant, poly, gamer geek here with a love of firearms and target sports. I shoot, I LARP, I camp . . . play a few musical instruments, do a lot of leather work. Regular 9 to 5 job but they don't mind that I regularly wear a bowler hat. Extremely liberal, wary of LEOs but not giving up hope, will monkey stomp nazi scum if given half a chance. I dislike bullies and bigots.
I love pre-1900 firearms. I tried S.A.S.S. but the community is a bunch of old conservative white guys and I found myself getting into too many arguments. Would be nice if we had an NCOWS chapter here in WA and I'd be happy if I found a 3Gun club that did historic firearms 3Gun stuff too. That being said I also have an interest in 3Gun heavy or He-Man division. Not a fan of the AR platform (I don't dislike it, just doesn't thrill me) and I think those shotguns with the super long mag tubes are goofy looking. But I would like to get into 3Gun shooting too.
I also love archery, knife throwing, tomahawks, BP, sling shots, darts, billiards and NERF. Even considering some AirSoft love. I often spend time in the woods with a bunch of other nerds fighting "monsters" with foam swords. I try to make art every day, either leather work or mix media small project stuff. I have been a leather worker for a long damn time so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Welcome to WaGuns, Drew! I'll admit, there's a significant portion of your post that I don't understand. Care to post any pics of your leather work or other art that you've done?

Welcome to WaGuns Drew! I'm guessing you've heard of Steamcon. There are plenty of conservative old white guys here, and as long as your positions are presented congenially then we don't have a problem having friendly debates. This site is pro-2A, and not a battlefield. I share your feelings towards AR's... They are tools, not beautiful to me. (Yet!) Give me old historic walnut and steel with a patina and I am all over it drooling, much to the owner's dismay.

Hello friend, I also dislike Germany's party of national socialists. Socialism has ruined the once awesome country I hail from and I will do my part to make sure that doesn't happen here. Welcome aboard!

There are plenty of conservative old white guys here,. I have heard of Steamcon, though something always seems to come up and I end up not going! Don't mind my comment about conservative old white guys too much. I really tried to engage with the online community of SASS and it failed miserably. The SASS shooters I have met in person have all been really nice, helpful and generally fun to hang out with. I only had to keep my mouth shut twice the last match I went to in Marysville. I am a little gun shy (pun intended) of the overall organization now because of a few bad apples, but I still think highly of my local peeps. I am liberal, and a bit reactionary at times, read as I can be downright rude in some circumstances. I just happen to be a gun totin' liberal ;) But I think I got a handle on things and can engage without it getting belligerent.
