It doesn't have a hood, and has side pockets in the traditional location, low and on the sides. I switched over to this jacket recently. I rarely used the hood in the 602 I had, so I decided I didn't need the hood.

There's also a Softshell Parka, and an add-in liner. I will get those added tomorrow.
