I own a Camp Chef 600 flat top. The griddle has a heat plate/stiffener on the bottom and 3 welds broke while cooking which allowed it to warp front to rear...called Camp Chef and a new one is on the way free of charge and keep the old one :thumbsup2: Great customer service.

Looks good, but making your own Adobo spice would be easy, and much tastier.

The backbone is the salt, cumin, garlic, & oregano, with turmeric.

There are lots of recipes online, but here’s one. Since you probably have most of the spices, you can make a fresh batch as needed, with more flavor.

This recipe says to grind the oregano & salt, but you could just crush the oregano with your fingers if you want.

You can look up others to compare and decide if you prefer more cumin, or Mexican oregano, etc., but this is a good starting point.

Adobo Seasoning

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup (60 grams) kosher salt reduce to 3 tablespoons (51 grams) if you're using iodized salt
1 1/2 tablespoons (4 grams) dried oregano
2 tablespoons (20 grams) granulated garlic
1 1/2 tablespoons (11 grams) onion powder
2 teaspoons (4 grams) black pepper
1 teaspoon (3 grams) ground turmeric
1 teaspoon (2 grams) ground cumin

INSTRUCTIONS

Add the salt and oregano leaves to a mortar and pestle, or grinder, and grind the salt down until it is the same consistency (size) as the granulated garlic.

Transfer the salt-oregano mixture to a mixing bowl and add the garlic, onion powder, black pepper, turmeric, and cumin.

Use a small whisk to blend the spices together into a uniform mixture.

Transfer the finished Adobo seasoning to a glass container using a funnel. Cover the seasoning with a tight-fitting lid and store in a cool, dark area of the kitchen.

A typical serving of Adobo is a 1/2 teaspoon (3 grams), but use as desired.

So my point stands.

You can make tastier Adobo spice mixes without anti-caking agents that mute the flavors.

But those aren't adobo spice mixes. And again I'm not making adobo. So I am not sure what the hell your point is??? And "Adobo" is a funky title for Goya to use IMHO

How is anyone supposed to know those aren’t Adobo spices in your pics of Adobo spice containers?

And you used them at some point, right?

Why are we arguing about what Pablo is cooking. It’s him cooking it, he said what he is cooking and somehow he is still wrong, or you find the need to continue to argue a pointless point?

Move on, cook something.
