I have been craving some spaghetti for a while now --- I've had a ~1/4# hamburger and ~1/4# sausage and some red/green peppers in the freezer ready to go --- been waiting for SW to have their french bread on sale - no way am I gonna pay $2.50-3 for a loaf - its barely worth a buck..... Finally said fuck and made the spaghetti and made some texas garlic toast with just plain white bread.
Yeah --- that hit the spot! And plenty of leftovers for 3-4 meals.

Made ramen again. I've got the broth down now. Eggs were cooked right, but I flubbed the marinade by re-using an equilibrium brine. I can top it up for the remaining 2 eggs. Noodles are good, but I need to fix the cutter - it's not separating every alternate noodle. Spinach gomae was more like the Korean sigeumchi namul, and I didn't have time to broil the chashu, but it was otherwise good. Aroma oil was green onion oil made this morning, and the tare was made a couple of days ago. I forgot to get the corn out, which would have been good, too. Colour is a thing this dish was lacking. But yeah, I have my recipe for the pai-tan broth down, now.

There's only a few foods I miss from England, and only from time to time, but proper fish and chips is one of them. I'd also definitely eat that.
