Anyone want the rest? LoL
Actually yes, I'd love it, because I AM THAT GUY!
I love a truly hard burn and do it for the challenge as well as just eating hot stuff regularly. I've been growing super hot peppers and eat them several times a week. I'll chop up a Carolina Reaper and add it to a bowl of chili or put it in a burrito. You actually do build up a tolerance to it, and my tolerance is pretty good right now, LOL. But I do prefer something more like ghost pepper level of heat than a reaper when adding to food. I make small vacuum sealed bags of pods that I freeze and can enjoy them throughout the year. I have all kinds of crazy hybrid peppers like white ghost, apocalypse scorpion, 7 pot brain strain, death spiral, dragons breath, red and yellow reapers, and one that I love the name.... the hurt berry, which is a reaper cross, pic below. I ate half of that one at work yesterday and got 3 others to split the other half. They all had a boil in the belly from just that!
BTW, those products claiming 9 mill or 13 mill scoville are using a capsaicin extract, there are no peppers that hot. And they are only using a very small amount of the extract, so the whole bar is nowhere close to 9 mill. We do some food challenges here at work and procured some gummy bears that were supposed to be 9 mill. I ate mine first to bait the others in and it wasn't nearly as hot as actually eating a fresh pepper like a reaper or even just a good ghost pepper. But the others were cut into quarters and people were dying over it. I figured I must have gotten a dud so I ate the rest of the leftovers and didn't even drink anything.
Pro tip for eating super hot pepper pods - chew it into a mash in your mouth, don't swallow large chunks. It'll burn the mouth a little more, but it's much easier on your gut. YMMV.
