Yeah, my mother in law did a ham for Christmas too. And with the leftovers she made a casserole with scalloped potatoes, and fed 40 homeless people with it.

I'm under the impression that a bunch of homeless people may have wondered if they'd died and gone to heaven, if your mother is the one who got you started in the kitchen. Your cooking looks fantastic. Like really fantastic.

Edit : Oops... Just realized my error. Mother in law. My bad.

She didn't. However, she's not a bad cook - always a meal ready every day. Never unsafely undercooked. I just can't be in the kitchen to watch her cut things with a knife.

Chris are you going to be able to down all that nice meat before it spoils? I had lots of help here with the boys and the Balrog. Not sure that I could have finished ours without that help.
If you're struggling under the weight of all that meat, you know that we're here for you brother.

Went to Double D meats today. Got some of their ground beef (I know it's a pretty mundane thing, ground beef, but this stuff is tasty)... made some meat loaf..

got some Baxter's Dragon's Breath BBQ sauce to go with... shit is awesome.

(Baxter was there with a sample table)

Not yet. Gotta figure out what it is first, and then I'll decide if I like it.
