By far the best brisket I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Easily top 3 best brisket I've ever had. Smooth but Intense flavor, insanely tender.. Barely able to stay together.

Coleslaw is home style and seasoned perfectly, and not drowning in sauce.

Mac n Cheese is cheesy and not greasy. Little bits of the hardened cheese from top of baking it....

Would eat here every day if I could.

Cost was ~$15 for about 1/2lb of brisket and 2 sides.

You see those pickles? They pickle their own cucumbers. icon_eek lightly pickled with a hint of cucumber flavor... amazeballs.

The owner came in and asked me how I liked everything... I couldn't give it enough praise.

Legit 'mom n pop' place...

Check this place out.

Yup, just down the road from where I work.

Their Ribs are good too.

I just drove past that place for the first time last weekend. I was curious about them as i hadn't seen it before.
Good to know, i will make sure I give them a try.

I hate to poo poo on this thread but the wife and I went their a few weeks ago and it was NASTY!!!! (Im being nice by saying “NASTY”)

The brisket was greasy as hell so much so I had to put a napkin on it to soak up the grease , I got the beans as my side and they were gross and almost threw up in my mouth.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Need to renew my passport. Plus drive 6 hours for some greased BBQ when we have our own terrible BBQ......

We went there, and it was decent, better than most in the PNW...

I think it's an on-again, off-again kinda place, and the owner comes out & treats you well, if he digs you, but he often can't be bothered...seems weird, 'cause he's not doing anything else when he's there ....

A much better place is BBQ2U, in Gig Harbor....great guys, and much better food....

And if you're further south, The Ranch House is good...

(Note: not in any way slamming the Weenie's review, it's just how 'into it' the owner is that day. The place I mentioned in Gig Harbor, was on point, without the owner being present.)

Good 'cue is hard to find up here, so supporting the good ones is awesome :thumbsup2:

I'm not a brisket connoisseur by any means.... just going on my experience. I'm sure there are places out there that are 10x better.

I will agree that they're greasy.... but I focused on flavor...

Ranch house is good. Its outside of Olympia.

There is a BBQ place thats inside of a truckstop in North Bend. I cant remember the name but the old gal in there will come out and sit with ya and is real nice, downhome style.

We like the Warthog in parkland too.

Ill even stop at Dickeys and fill my face to.

Jim Bobs Chuckwagon in McKenna is good to. A good excuse to stop by the County Line gun shop across the street while your in the hood.
