Post Review of Smoke and Shine in Kirkland
No smoke flavor at all. Dry brisket. Ribs tender, but not much flavor.

Sauces just sweet, pretty sweet, and gawd-dammit so much sugar too sweet

Sides OK, portions generous. The corn bread is like pound cake. Wife said hers is "better, this is too sweet." I nodded but secretly enjoyed the rich pound bread.

Large new, clean establishment. The wait staff is super nice and on the spot. Prices on the high side, normal.

They need to up their game.
