Just checking to see who else is planning on deep fried turkey this year for Thanksgiving? Anyone else with plans?

Since we're now nominally in the South, we're planning to deep fry a turkey this year with an outdoor propane turkey fryer

Have been shopping and came up with this list of equipment:
Bayou Classic 1118 32-Quart Stainless Steel Turkey Fryer Kit
Concord Deluxe 16" Banjo Single Square Burner Stove 200,000 BTU
LouAna Peanut Oil 3gal x2 for 6 gal total
U-Haul 20lb Propane Tank

Total cost around $300 for the whole shebang. A couple sites recommend frying in peanut oil and going with a bird in the 13-14lb bird range which it looks like only takes about 50 minutes once it dunks into the heated fryer.

Only thing left to price out is the safety gear below

About the only thing I know about deep frying turkey is to make sure you don't put in too much oil.
First measure the displacement of the bird in the fryer full of cold water first.
