Dang, that looks TASTY!
We stayed at the capitol longer than planned and had to skip the stop on the way home.
But Monday may be another opportunity, since I hope to head to Oly again to offset the orange brigade.

Well I'm going to disagree with you guys icon_eek

This place was very "meh". My wife and I ate here yesterday afternoon, each tried something different (tacos and mulita, with the dippin' sauce!) and both came to the same conclusion: it is OK, but not worth the praise on here. It was very bland and the meat reminded me of pot roast with au jus. Usually this type of food has that authentic can't-replicate-at-home flavor but these meals were boring.

We love Mexican food and regularly try different small spots; loved the taco bus up on 118th St./Meridian in Puyallup before it moved... big fan of Taqueria Antojo and Tonala in Tacoma. I consider Tacoma/Puyallup/Lakewood to have a good selection and this place just isn't going to make it on my rotation.

If it's the place I'm thinking of in that weird little strip mall across the street from the starlight but yeah they have pretty good food I used to eat there fairly often when I worked down that way.

That has been several years ago now however.

It looks to be new . . . ?

The building actually has a different name on it, so maybe that's the place you went to. Once you walk up to the door, you'll see a temporary paper sign for Birrira Tijuana.
