I've never tried Tijuana tacos but should have long ago. These tacos are simple, they are birria meat and cheese and 2 tortillas folded over then deep fried and you dunk them in consomme which is the cooking liquid for the meat. These tacos are insanely good, the meat is tender and flavorful. The are so good I might go back again today
They are at 8300 block of so tac way across the street from the old flea shop.

There's a hole-in-the-wall place in North Burien, inside a market, that serves these. (same name birrieria tijuana)

Haven't been, but heard they were good...

Good to know, James, thank you!

Was reading about a place in Seattle too, I'll have to find it.

Like most here, I try to stay outta Seattle...but we have a list in case we get stuck there, in one place or another.

Stopped by the Tacoma Birrira Tijuana location yesterday for lunch.

Currently eschewing cheese (trying to keep my phosphates low), I went with 3 Tacos Dorado.

Most excellent. Will be back.

Huh. Yeah, usrifle really seemed to enjoy himself. First there was this big girly drink . . . well, technically it was a "mangoneada":

Look at that shit-eating grin!

And speaking of eating, here's usrifle tearing into a burrito the size of his leg:

Image

Hell, even I was embarrassed, and y'all have seen how I eat.

GlockTherapy and I ordered much more modest portions. Here's my mulita:

And GlockTherapy's tacos, with my mulita in the background:

Well, okay, there may have been a quesadilla involved too:

Great stuff! I really enjoyed it. And I'll be enjoying some of it for dinner tonight too.

Fucker...that was YOUR Girly drink, you just slid it in front of me for the pic. :cussing:

I had a Coke, in a bottle, made with real Cane sugar. GlockTherapy had one too, but it made her burp out her nose. :rofl9:
Damnit, i should have caught a pic of your jaw unhinging on your Mulita, but i was still in shock at the size of my Burrito.
I don't think my gastroenterologist would have approved of my food choice.
