What's the scoop on regular saltine crackers?
Stopped by four grocery stores and not one box of regular saltine crackers. |

Probably the same as distilled water.

Nabisco/Mendelez was on strike towards the end of last year, for a little over a month.
It started at the Portland facility, and ended mid-September. Overstock at distribution facilities are starting to run out. Combine that with current supply-chain woes, and re-supply will be sporadic. Both QFC and Freddy’s were out. Costco had the larger size last weekend. |

Crackers in general, including saltines, have been in pretty short supply at my Safeway.

Yeah, anything Nabisco, especially, will be in short supply…but everything is going to be sporadic between supply chain issues, trucking, etc., …

We only eat the club crackers, I don’t think we’ve eaten saltine except for in a restaurant with soup or chili…

I made chili a few days ago, I like to put the chili on the crackers. Went to four different stores and not one box to be had.
I'll go loot at the Safeway on 172nd. I love how this admistration handled this whole situation. Nice $4 plus gas prices, real high food prices, all of these nice mandates and the nice increase on our property taxes and the lack of work because we can not get products to finish the million dollar plus house we are building. Life is beautiful. |

I had decided long ago that corn chips work better with chili over saltines..... but soups - it has to be saltines.
