I am old school I do not use a nuker much at all. I do a lot of mex because I grew up in CA and have been in the kitchens of a lot of old-school Mexican cooks from small villages. I make tamales too! But for the most part, I learned from my grandmother, a real jack of trades, master seamstress, cook and even an inventor. She was the best. My mother was lazy and did not enjoy cooking so I soaked up all my grandmother's knowledge and expanded it.
It's sad so many women are too lazy today and have no idea how to cook and some others that do just add a lot of preservatives, fructose, and other garbage but not all of us!

Cooking is certainly a passion for me like guns are.... enjoy!

Jealous... used to cook but all I have to work with in the studio is a microwave.

I think I just gained ten pounds just looking at all those carbs... trying to get down to 175 from around 190.

Wow someone knows what that is. Ya, it's seasoned right too (burned and then rice ground into it) to remove any loose grit. Absolutely important in the processing of salsa. :wink05:

For anyone interested in buying and prepping one, here ya go.

Well he probably has me beat. I hope he does not turn into Alton Brown and start dissecting my cooking in nerdy science speak. :ROFLMAO:
But I do love Alton's geeky side in the "Good eats" days. :wink05: I am no pro in the art of BBQ. I think the boys have mastered that art as they camp out at grills and smokers so much. I can make a delicious roast or carne asada, though

Hahaha, Welp I wouldn't object to cooking for everyone, but you all have to wash the dishes. :rofl9:
