I have a couple Pork butt's in the Smoker about 4 hours in. Wifey wants BBQ for her Crew tomorrow.

They got done just in time, Almost 16 hours to hit 200 internal. I had to bump the Temps to 250, Otherwise i would have PM'd you my address to pick them off the Smoker.

Homemade Chicken Barley Soup for my wife who is down sick at the moment:

Chicken Barley Soup
Derived loosely from:

Ingredients for Stock
1 Whole Chicken Fryer or Cut-up Chicken
16 cups water
3-4 bay leaves
1 large onion, cut in half
1 bunch fresh parsley
Couple sprigs fresh thyme
Couple sprigs fresh rosemary (optional)
Couple sprigs fresh sage (optional)

1. Cutup chicken fryer to pieces, discard back
2. Place chicken pieces in large stockpot with water
3. Place bay leaves in stockpot
4. Play onion in stockpot
5. Wrap parsley, sage, thyme, and rosemary into bouquet garni
6. Place bouquet garni in stockpot
7. Bring to a boil
8. Lower heat to simmer for one hour or until chicken is tender (falling off the bone)
9. Strain chicken broth into separate container
10. Remove meat from bones
11. Discard bones, bouquet garni, onions, bay leaves

Ingredients for Soup
2 cups chopped carrots
2 cups chopped celery
1 chopped onion
1 cup pearl barley
1-2 chicken bouillon cubes or equivalent powder to flavor
Salt and pepper to flavor

1. Place meat back into strained broth
2. Add vegetables and barley
3. Bring to boil, reduce heat to simmer and coveRemove
4. Cook for one hour or until vegetables and barley are tender.
