I haven't touched Tito's in a while, been on a Whiskey kick. Thanks Jerk Just glad to help!!

Went to my local for my Laird's AppleJack (love that stuff), then went to Costco. Was going to buy a bottle for my work chum. $238+ tax. Whoa. Got him this instead: https://www.totalwine.com/spirits/bourb ... lsrc=aw.dsThought he was going to hug me. :yikes:

I’m actually drinking 1792 Full Proof tonight and not these, but I’m slowly finding my unicorns and felt this was the best place to post a pic. Cheers!

They have 2 or three different versions and the others are usually more expensive, but the Confiscated is the best bang for the buck.

If you want peaty scotches drink Islay scotches. Spayside scotches aren't going to be very peaty. My mom brought over this crappy bottle of Highland scotch to try. She was pressured into it by someone at Total Wine. It is their brand of scotch, Grangestone. It needs water, which I'm not a fan of adding water to my scotch. But after about three fingers, it is a bit more palatable. She also brought over this bottle of Casamigos tequila (yes the George Clooney stuff). Overpriced and not very good. Kinda minty tasting, not what I want in a tequila.

You want peaty? This Offerman Edition Laguvulin 11yr starts out like a dying campfire but ends up light and almost fruity. Very strong peat, but not in an overwhelming way.

You want peaty? Can we say Octomore. It is from Bruichladdich, and it is like drinking a smoke house. Laguvulin is a solid scotch for those who want that peat and smoke. Personally I'm more of a spayside guy, but I like Islay mixed in. I think there are nights where Islay are needed.
