Me? Great. Was the highest rated rum for 2020. Won several rum tasting events.
Some people compare it to a fine scotch or bourbon.

Good to know :thumbsup2:

I meant Karma, but your post came before I hit enter

Never been a rum guy, too sweet for my tastes, but lots of people love it.

:cheers2:

I have a couple of high-end rums and they’re just a little too sweet for me. Gotta be in just the right mood.

Side note: We had dinner at John Howie Steak tonight and I tried a couple of different Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project, Barrel 145 and 192. They were both amazing. It’s nice to go to a place with a larger whiskey collection than mine.

I've had the 12 and 18. Easily the best rum I've ever had. I might have to go shopping today for this.

GF bought it for me for Valentines Day. Think it cost $200, far more than the swill I would buy.
Very smooth. Just throw in a single ice cube to bring out the flavor. Best rum I have ever had.
Have it at Costco and Total Wine.
Saving most of it for when my USMC son comes home on leave.

It is a solid Rye. It is hard to find but I picked this up in Redmond at the Liquor store on 76th St.

Costco or Total Wine.
It's really good. Not too sweet, just right. Prefer an aged rum to a whisky. Believe me, I've had my share of all spirits, have the liver to prove it.
1-2 ice cubes in a tumbler, no water.
You'll like it. At Costco I think you can return it if you don't.
But Costco doesn't usually sell shit.

Killed this EH Taylor Single Barrel pick from Bounty Hunter for National Bottled-in-Bond day. What a marvelous gem of a bottle this was. Absolutely brilliant.

Bounty Hunter? They cancelled an order of mine about 6 months ago telling me they could no longer ship to Washington...
Pissed me off because I ordered a couple IW Harper 15's for $75 each.

You just need to know the right people there. Officially, they don’t ship here anymore, but they do have a workaround with a 3rd party shipper. And they pick some excellent barrels!

Ben talked to me about that about 2 months ago... I look at it as with a 3rd party involved if something happens they point the finger at each other so the only person to get screwed is us. Have you done business with The San Francisco Wine trading company? Nice selection but again, I don't know if they ship here.
