I crawled into my Crown Royal Reserve this evening after a fantastic day of fishing and a relaxing afternoon/evening with Mrs. Caveman. I know, boring Canadian whiskey... Thanks, I’ve been on the water a time or two. I had a guy on this forum that came down from Burlington to fish with me, it was a really good trip. Did I mention that I have open seats available???

I really need to come down and take advantage of an open seat sometime, it would be good to spend some time on the water and get a fishing lesson from the Master.

Ooh, Highland Park is my favorite. A few years ago I spent a wonderful day at the distillery chatting with the head distiller. I've got a bottle of Highland Park Sigurd just waiting for a special occasion.

Nice! I just opened a Garrison Brothers Single Barrel (the one on the far left). It’s ok, but not great. I’m a little disappointed because it was picked by Bounty Hunter and every other whiskey pick from them that I’ve had has been outstanding. I have an Eagle Rare pick from them that that is amazingly good (and sadly almost gone!)

Not too bad. Tastes like you are chewing on an oak stick. Attachment: 20210313_211500.jpg

Drinking a glass each of Trappiste Rochefort 10 belgian ale and a Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Dunkel (Bavarian hefe).
Stopped by Spec's today and went nuts buying new bottles of booze: - Miagave Reposado - Miagave Anejo - Dripping Springs Traditional Gin (local craft distillery, Gin & Tonic my favorite all time drink) - High West Whiskey Campfire blend 92 proof (Park City, UT)
Will see if I can post up some pics after I start cracking them open.
