I think I win, no? Let’s call it a tie. It's not a tie when your Whiskey is pictured on the hood of a Cyclone. You win Jacy.

I was being gracious. Besides, we all know it’s not the size of the bottle that counts.

I kind of hate to admit how much I like this Jim Beam Bonded. I have other bourbons that cost as much, per shot, as this bottle that aren’t as drinkable. It’s outstanding.

Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select from Bounty Hunter Wines. I’ve gotta admit, I’ve gotten used to sipping barrel proof whiskeys and find this 90 proofer to go down waaaaay too easily.

I've been into cask strength scotch, so I'm right there with you.

Finally got this today, Eagle Rare 17. Turns out it’s one of my top favorite whiskeys now!

Old article, but I found it interesting. And if you don't like it, you get your money back. Try that at the corner liquor store! How Does Costco Sell 18-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch for $38?https://punchdrink.com/articles/how-cos ... h-pricing/

New distiller, but still tasty. New look too. I think I liked Jim's stuff better though.

That is a Bruichladdich whisky, so not a new distillery, just using the old Port Charlotte warehouse and name. Quote: Port Charlotte Distillery was a purpose-built distillery, founded in 1829, which was still in operation until 1929. It was formerly called the Lochindaal distillery. The distillery was located in the center of Port Charlotte village, on the island of Islay, off the west coast of Scotland. After various owners, the distillery was finally closed in 1929. However, the buildings have remained intact.
The brand was partially revived during 2009–14, although the distillery as such remained closed. Whisky distilled at nearby Bruichladdich is matured in oak casks at Port Charlotte. Whiskies currently bottled there include: Port Charlotte Scottish Barley PC 11 Heavily peated
