Another HUGE plus one for Rec-Tec. I have the 300 (mini). That's now been discontinued and is now the RT-340 (trailblazer).
I don't fully agree that you should buy the biggest one you can. I can get my mini up to temp for a quick smoke/grill WAY faster than Larry can get his Bull up and running. That being said, there are a couple times that I wish I had a larger smoker, but only a couple. When this one dies (probably never), I'll replace it with the Stampede (RT-590)

I have a green mountain. It has been a good grill no problems at all. The things that I like about it over the treager. The temp will go lower 150 degrees and go higher 500 degrees. The treager goes from 170 to 450. It seams to hold a more consistent temp then my brother’s treager. It usually stays within 2 to 3° of what you Set it. I also have the small green mountain that is 12 V that I keep in my travel trailer. I have had problems with that one. But like what was said earlier their customer service is fantastic. Once they figured out the problem with that one it has been great. With all that said if I needed a new grill it would be a rec-tec! If you are thinking about a Green Mountain Grills they have great black Friday sales. I picked up my Daniel Boone for $399 on Black Friday. From coastal farm in Auburn.

Your little gremlin not hold a candle to my bullseye for getting hot though. :-p
Pablo, If you have the $ and want to cover the bases a 700 and a bullseye are an awesome pair.

I have a Traeger Lil Tex 22”, I was lucky enough I found it on offer up for 500$ new never used just assembled. Came with all the warranties and a bag of pellets. I love the smoker . It cooks perfect as far as I can tell the temp is very close to spot on. Have yet to have a negative comment . Everyone I know that bitches about them only have issues because they don’t clean them regularly. But I do everything on mine , burgers, chicken, brisket, meat loaf, pizza and a ton of other stuff . I was going to buy the green mountain grill jim Bowie , but with the deal I found this for I am glad I didn’t go out and spend double . Possibly try one of them out whe. This one dies but as of right now I’m super happy with it .

I bought a camp chef woodwind and couldn't be happier. They really are overlooked. The 900 degree sear burner on the side is awesome, and the ash cleaning system is sweet. It doesn't have wifi but that hasn't really bothered me much. Of course I bought the first gen about a month before they came out with the second gen.... The newer model has more space, a bigger hopper and two probes.

After having a Traeger for about 6 years (old, good model) i replaced it with a Yoder YS480. All built in the USA and built like a brick shit house, 3/16 plate steel for the whole firebox. It weighs in at about 335 pounds IIRC. I've had it for 2.5 years now and it has been flawless. Only drawback is the closest dealer is south of Portland. Sam's NW BBQ Co.. Great outfit, just a bit of a drive. No sales tax helped. If i had to do it over again, i would get it with the competition cart, but hindsight is def 20/20.

This....I love my Camp Chef Woodwind with the side sear box. Nobody else can touch that 900 degree side sear box either. It came down to a competition between the Rec Tec and the Woodwind and the Sear box sold me. Nothing like a nice thick Ribeye smoked to 115 internal and then given a beautiful Sear on the side box. Best steaks I have ever had. ...and Kyle? I still have my offset stick burner, but it never got used this Summer. Pellets are just too easy. Set it and forget it....The pull of the dark side was just too strong.
