The bacon OK.......if those have hot seed areas, the go right to my ass. Burn for a day. BUT some jalapenos can be mild.

I also gave up trying to wrap them and instead just chop the bacon up and put it on top... Keps me from having to hear the wife and kids bitch about rubbery bacon. Haven't thought about doing them in the Instant pot.

Made a low carb roast beef stew tonight. Substituted radishes for the potatoes which tastes amazing. They pretty much just have a cabbage flavor to them.

That looks pretty damned good, Chris. How was it? Would you change anything if you made it again?
And your pot looks . . . white? Is it a special one, nonstick or something?

Is it a special one, nonstick or something? it was light on the eating 2 bowls I was good. would not change a thing from what I substituted, just enough "hot" to bring sniffles. the kale I let simmer for about 15 min so it wasn't a little crunchy Its not just an instant pot, I got the Ninja foodie and yes its a non stick pot, NO METAL touches this at all. Poor crock pot don't see much use anymore

I made this for the second time: Instant Pot Tortellini Soup with SausageThat's a double batch in an 8-quart Instant Pot. Pretty much full. Damned good stuff, it's super-tasty! I pretty much followed the recipe, with a few tweaks: - Threw in some extra red pepper flakes. - Diced up and put in one chicken breast in addition to two pounds of hot sausage - At the end, added one handful of shredded parmesan and one handful of shredded mozzarella. - At the end, added 4 ounces of cream cheese. - At the end, added one jar of pasta sauce. So it's tomato-y . . . but a long ways from just tomato soup or pasta sauce.

^ That stuff is even better as leftovers . . . wow. I keep seeing recommendations for Bar Keepers Friend as a cleaner for the Instant Pot liner as well as other things, so I finally decided to give it a try since I want my IP to be as clean as possible, to help avoid the dreaded "BURN" notice when I'm cooking tomato-based recipes. Now, in the pics below please ignore the yellowish/copperish tone. That's not real, it might be a reflection from the cabinets above. Here's my Instant Pot liner after I scrubbed it with the usual dish soap. It's clean as in there's nothing stuck to it, but there's a lot of discoloration: I put a little water in the bottom, sprinkled some BKF in there, and wiped it around with the sponge. Then let it dry completely (because it always looks good when it's wet!), and here's how it looks now: Yup, big difference in appearance. Does it really matter? Maybe not. I've read that it's really helpful at getting stuck-on food removed too, but I haven't had a chance to try that yet.

Excellent! Yes I use BKF on our stainless pots and the sink. Does the trick!
