I have one, and for some things they are amazing. Since it was just me for Thanksgiving I did a whole chicken instead of a turkey....awesome. When I get a house I will get this version: https://www.samsclub.com/sams/ninja-foo ... oduct_1_21

After a ton of research I figured out that 6 minutes of high pressure in an Instant Pot will give you the absolute PERFECT and easily peel-able boiled eggs.

I thought you were talking about some new MJ powder that you mixed with water.
Instant pots are great. I use it a lot for cooking rice quickly. Right now I've got a Costco roasted chicken carcass in it for making soup.

I'm supposed to track one down for the wife this year as well. Trying to pick between the Ultra, the Smart, and the Max. (What the hell do i know about cooking?) If anyone gets a lead on a decent sale, let me know; frees up more cash for guns on my end. lol

Good timing, since I'm thinking about getting one.

Did a corned beef brisket in about an HR. Poblano corn chowder is delicious

Especially for just two of us. My gripe with Instant Pot is their lack of straight up model numbers. Hard to compare.

Instant Pot is legit...it saved our butt (pork butt, that is) when our crock pot crapped out before a dinner party. Ran to our in-laws, grabbed the Instant Pot, and had delicious, fully-cooked pulled pork just in the nick of time. Would have been impossible to pull that off without it.

I'm trying my first pork in ours, very soon.
Butcher was out of proper ribs. (Boo) Didn't want to go buy awful Safeway meat. He had some nice looking country style meaty "ribs". $5 for a hefty package. It's sitting in a dry rub right now.
Plan is to knock off the loose dry rub, and cook with minimal liquid under pressure. I may do the apple and ACV thing, with some smoky sauce added.....did not like the boiled look of the video. We'll see....gonna google around a bit.

Have not tried the baking soda trick yet.
